Bruxism is the unconscious tightening of masticatory muscles manifested gnashing of teeth or clamping. It may be accompanied by: biting of the lips, mucous membrane of the cheeks or nail biting. As a result of crimping, significant destruction of oral disorders may occur, manifested as aesthetics decreament and impaired function of the teeth.
